Time: 1 hour
Perfect combination of flavours, amazing homemade bread
Ingredients (for 8 rolls)
150g of dried figs LaCuba
400g of bread making wheat-flour
200g of whole rye flour
350g of water
15g of fresh yeast
100g of apple
10g of brown sugar
10g of salt
Preparation
Rehydrate the figs in warm water two hours in advance, then drain and dry.
Chop the figs and apple into pieces as small as possible.
In a bowl, mix the two flours, the yeast dissolved in water, the water, salt, sugar, figs and apple. Knead for about 10 minutes until a sticky dough is obtained.
Cover the dough with a cloth and let stand for one hour at room temperature. After that it will double its volume.
Dump the dough on a previously-floured work surface and divide it several times in half to obtain 8 pieces with similar size. We give the form of bread roll to each piece.
Place the rolls on an oven tray, cover them with a cloth and let them rest while the oven is preheating at 200ºC
Introduce the bread in the oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes until the crust is golden-brown.
Plate Up
Serve in a wicker basket.
