Fig Fritters

Ingredients (4 people)

  • ½ kg of LaCuba dried figs.
  • 1 wineglass of Port.
  • 350g of flour.
  • ½ serve of yeast
  • 250 ml of water
  • Olive oil
  • Brown sugar and cinnamon


Preparation

  • Put the figs without the stem into the Port for 2 hours.
  • Mix in a bowl the flour, water and yeast until gettin an uniform dough without lumps.
  • Add the figs to the dough.
  • In a pan with plenty olive oil, add fig by fig with some dought frying them.

Plate up
Put the Fritters in plates and sprinkle the brown sugar and the cinnamon.
