Cake of figs with whipped cream

Ingredients (8 people)

  • 150g of LaCuba dried figs
  • 50g of walnut
  • 500g of flour
  • 100g of butter
  • 100g of sugar
  • 4 whites of egg
  • 20g of yeast
  • ½ l of milk
  • 1 glass of rum
  • Whipped cream


Preparation

  • Slice the figs and walnuts.
  • Mix the flour with the yeast.
  • Boil the milk, add 75g of butter. Whe the butter is melted add the flour bit by bit without stopping stiring. If there are lumps use the mixer.
  • Add the rum, sugar, walnut and figs.
  • Whipe the whites of the eggs and add slowly to the previous mixture.
  • Spread the reamaining butter in an oven mould, sprinkle flour and put the mixture uniformly.
  • Put in the oven preheated to 160ºC, during 50 minutes.
  • Take out from the oven.
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave.
  • Take out of the mould and put it in a plate.

Plate Up
Put each portion in a plate and add whipped cream.
